The Classic 4-day Inca Trail’s highlights can be experienced on a shorter, more affordable 2 day Inca Trail tour. Commonly known as Short Inca Trail 2 Days, you’ll be exposed to different microclimates on this trail as you descend from the the Andes to cloud forest.

On this 2 Day Inca Trail Tour, you will pass many Inca sites along the route, including the famous Wiñay Wayna. As those on the Classical Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, you will get to enjoy the first views of Machu Picchu from the Sun Gate.

Families with small children will find the trail ideal. It doesn’t require you to hike high altitudes nor camping. The Short Inca Trail 2 Days’ highest point is at 2650m above sea level.

We will be accommodating you in a comfortable hotel in Aguas Calientes town. 

The second day of the trail completes with a visit to the archaeological site of Machu Picchu. Our local expert will be giving you a two hours tour. You will get an insight into the Incan mythology and the history behind this lost Inca citadel. 

If you wish to enhance your experience, you can upgrade to the Peru Rail’s Vistadome Train. It offers a panoramic view.
