We will be picking you up from your hotel in Cusco for a full-day Sacred Valley Tour. Then in our private transport, we will be driving you to Pisac. Here we will be visiting the Inca ruins perched on a hilltop. The ruins are massive and are just second to Machu Picchu in size. 

After a guided tour of the complex, we will be driving you down to the main square where locals set up a traditional market. Here you will be able to pick up some souvenirs. 

We will continue the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu 2 Day tour to Urubamba. Here we will be serving you a traditional Andean meal at a local restaurant. 

After lunch, we will be driving you to Ollantaytambo. This was once an administrative capital of the Incas. The village snuggles between two hills. Each houses Inca ruins. 

We will be giving you a guided tour of the complex. This is the complex where the battle of Ollantaytambo was fought in 1531. 

Once you have had your fill of Incas history in these two prominent sites, we will be driving you to Ollantaytambo train station. Here you will be boarding a train to Aguas Calientes. 

Once in Aguas Calientes, our local representative will be meeting you and will be transferring you to the hotel. You will be accommodated in an ensuite hotel room. 

Early in the morning, we will be picking you up from your hotel in Aguas Calientes. We will then take a 25 minutes bus ride up the hill to the entrance of the citadel of the Incas. 

We will be giving you a detailed two hours tour of the citadel. On this guided tour, you will be visiting prominent areas like the main square, remains of the royal quarters, Incan temples, and more. 

After the tour, you will have some free time to explore the citadel on your own. If you have booked to hike Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu mountain, our tour guide will guide you to the respective trailhead.

Alternatively, you can hike to the sun gate. It offers a spectacular view of the citadel. Sungate is the point of entry to the citadel for those on the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.

Once you have had your fill of the Inca Citadel, you will be taking the bus back down to Aguas Calientes. You will have some time to explore the town and stop for lunch at one of the local restaurants. 

We will then take a train back to Ollantaytambo. Our representative will be meeting you on arrival and will be transferring you back to Cusco. We will be reaching Cusco by 09:00 PM.
